Did Nostradamus predict the Coronavirus?

Here are two interesting articles where they say that the prophetic predicted this catastrophic event.

There are also rumours circulating that the virus didn’t originate from bats.  I include myself in this conspiracy. I believe the virus was man-made and released deliberately. I don’t think they had any thoughts of how bad it would be and how fast it spread. I also believe that the same chemist/laboratory has a cure, which will suddenly appear soon.  And that the vaccine that works will make the manufactures trillionaires.

What do you think?

Tornado hits Corfu Greece 11/11/2017

It’s hard to believe that a tornado hit Lefkimi, our Greek village. Add that to a hurricane and you can imagine what it was like.
No. You couldn’t unless you were there. Take a look at the photos, that apparently no Greek news station thought our village was important enough to report on.

Lefkimi is one of the largest villages on the Island and yet only half was hit. Melikia and Potami. I live in Melikia.

We weren’t at home at the time. We were outside, driving right into it.

11th November is my eldest daughter’s birthday. We were dressed up and ready to go out and eat. It was raining and it was windy. Lightning had been flashing for a while. For some reason, my husband wanted to drive the back way of the village,  missing out the cafes and shops. The road was alongside a canal (Potami) we saw the water has risen very high. We passed a man with a torch checking out his boat. The further down we drove, the worse the weather was becoming. It got so bad I asked my husband who was driving, can you see anything out of the windscreen because I can’t.
It was too late to stop and we couldn’t see anything in front or behind. The rain and wind were so fast and heavy that I couldn’t see anything outside. Then we had leaves and branches hitting the screen and the top of the car. We thought it was hail stones. Alexia, my youngest already had a fear of thunder and storms, so she was shaking and crying. We made it to the end of the road and onto the main road, which would take us down to where we were eating. We saw a row of lights ahead and my eldest daughter said it was the Cube, a coffee place we go to often. As we coming up to Cube, we couldn’t see ahead, on the opposite side of the road, or what was behind, so my husband turned into the carpark and we stayed there until it looked safe to move again.
In that time we watched the wind knocking over huge plants, ripping the flags off, tipping over a motorbike and then the electric went off inside and my youngest was crying and shaking again. My eldest daughter was cuddling with her in the back seat. It was a scary time. The rain stopped and the wind abated and so we continued our journey.  You have to understand we thought we were in a bad storm and it was over. It wasn’t until we were driving on the main road and saw a tree down and then another that totally blocked our side of the road, that we suspected a tornado. My husband said exactly what I was thinking, what if we had kept going and hadn’t stopped at the Cube?
We continued and arrived at the taverna where we ordered our meal. I was in the toilets with my youngest when my husband came in and said, he had just received a call from his dad, the tornado hit Melikia and there were damages. We took the food to go and rushed back to the house.

Now, this next video is chilling. It demonstrated how close we were and how lucky we are to be safe, together and unhurt.

I have to hand it to the Corfu island fire department and electricity board. My husband pulled over and phoned them as soon as we saw the fallen trees and they were there dealing with it when we came back from the taverna.  We were without power and water for less than 24hours. From the amount of firetrucks, cranes and vans from the Electric company, around our area, I assume they came from town.

It’s now 10pm on Sunday evening 12th November. I have no idea what the official cause is apart from a tornado and hurricane. I haven’t heard of any casualties inside the village.

Sadly, there was a death near Santa Barbara of a Greek man whose car fell into a river. His family managed to get out safely but his foot got stuck in the steering wheel and he died.
This information was given to me second hand, so if I learn more of the official facts I will update this piece.

We are on half power now and it may be off again tomorrow as they continue work. Apparently, we could be having the same freak weather on Tuesday.  I don’t think Alexia will get over this experience. She jumps every time the light flickers. We’ve been trying to instil in her that rain, wind and thunderstorms are harmless. She had such a fear of them before, now it seems it was warranted.

In conclusion, Mother Nature is a bitch and can suck rotten eggs!

Independence day – Resurgence

Film  Review

Okay, so it was never going to be as good as the first. The first film was fresh, new and had the witty one liners from the brilliant Will Smith. And although he was missing from the film, they did have familiar faces playing the same character roles. Unfortunately, some are only cameo roles as they get killed off early.

The special effects were great, if not some a little over done. What you didn’t get is the feeling of doom, as you did in the first film. Yes, the aliens are back. Yes, the world is going to end. But it was so similar to the first movie, that it felt like they were just going through the motions. There was no grabbing onto the edge of your seat, very few witty one liners and it was all too familiar.
That’s what brings me to the cringey part of the film. The same ‘they will not take away our independence’ speech, the same one manned plane, taking out the alien mother ship, the same tentacle grabbing alien wrapping around a person’s throat to enable it to speak, was all replayed.
The most memorable part of the film, was being allowed to see the aliens close up, especially the actual mother/queen. And the film ended on a high note, hinting that there could be a number three, or even a whole bunch of other films, running off the original story.
It was an enjoyable film, but for the fans of the first film, don’t expect too much.
Independence Day – Resurgence gets a  ****   4 out of 5 from me

The Chief Release Boost

Excerpt

Reed buried his fingers in his hair. The worst days were always the ones where everything happened at once. This was one of them.

Even now in this vulnerable position he could feel eyes on him. Warriors that would respond to his command, and those that were loyal to Melik. Tribe members judging his movements, determining where they sat along the line of fracture.

Not once had he expected his return to be easy. Alone he might have been able to handle it. Add in the surprise birth, the question of Melik’s role in the event, the heaping amounts of the white world he’d added to the Tribe in a few hours, and of course the complication of a particular white woman. He was surprised he hadn’t died of an aneurysm from the stress.

For just five minutes he wanted to pretend none of it existed.

Maybe Noelle had a point. There was no way he felt any sense of control right then. Not even a little bit.

Years of training had taught him to never give in to such moments of abandon. There wasn’t a time in his life Reed could remember not being in full control of his emotions and reactions.

All the training had primed him for a role as Medicine Man.

Now that was a role he wouldn’t take on. In fact, he had to embrace the role of Chief. A role that required even more control.

He rose slowly.

Total abandon. Noelle’s words whispered through his head.

Reed could hear the Cougar growl in approval and closed his eyes as the Animal surged forward. It was very possible his eyes were yellow now, but he didn’t care. He focused on Noelle as she continued her humming with a gentle sway to her shoulders.

He stalked toward her, silent as he’d ever been trained to be. The Cougar, despite his impatience, remained restrained.

Noelle didn’t react to his approach until he stood over her. The music faded away with a small gasp as her eyes opened. “Oh.”

Being forward wasn’t his strong suit, and right then he didn’t trust himself to speak. An offer of his hand was the best he could do without something over the top happening.

The standard bright smile she’d worn from day one was nowhere to be found. In its place her lips curved into a simple, quiet, understanding smile that somehow got outweighed by the returned hunger in her gaze. Her hand slipped into his and she let him pull her to her feet.

With a gentle tug he pulled her across the path to what had been his parent’s house. He knew it still sat empty, cleaned weekly by Snowbird herself. It was close, and empty. That was all he could think about when he led Noelle inside.

The moment the door clicked shut, his control snapped. With a loud thump they hit the door, lips locked in a heated embrace. In his head the Cougar growled its approval when her nails cut along his back.

She was the first to break the kiss. Her breath came in ragged rasps as she held him back just enough to keep him from claiming her lips again. “No strings.”

“Total abandon.”

With that, her legs wrapped around his waist and he was lost in her touch. The heat took over; the Cougar came out to play.

Total abandon.

About the Author

Sarah Cass’ world is regularly turned upside down by her three special needs kids and loving mate, so she breaks genre barriers; dabbling in horror, straight fiction and urban fantasy. She loves historicals and romance, and characters who are real and flawed, so she writes to understand what makes her fictional people tick. And she lives for a happy ending – eventually. And enough twists to make it look like she enjoys her title of Queen of Trauma Drama a little too much.

An ADD tendency leaves her with a variety of interests that include singing, dancing, crafting, cooking, and being a photographer. She fights through the struggles of the day, knowing the battles are her crucible; she may emerge scarred, but always stronger. The rhythms to her activities drive her words forward, pushing her through the labyrinths of the heart and the nightmares of the mind, driving her to find resolutions to her characters’ problems.

While busy creating worlds and characters as real to her as her own family, she leads an active online life with her blog, Redefining Perfect, which gives a real and sometimes raw glimpse into her life and art. You can most often find her popping out her 140 characters in Twitter speak, and on Facebook.

Battle Time

Duel to the Death: Thya

I, Karina Kantas, challenge you, Andy Peloquin, to a duel to the death! But it is not we who will fight, but our characters…

In the silver corner, we have Thya, Queen of Tsinia, Guardian of the Changlins!

12440514_10205347228112101_1532605863647979167_o(1)
Tale of the Tape:
• Can control the forces of nature
• Any act using rain, wind, fire, earth
• Can burn you from the inside out
• Can make things move with her mind
• Can strangle, just by looking at you
• Is immortal and can only be killed by that who created her
• Can and has done numerous times, mute, blind and take away speech

In the black corner, weighing in at 180 pounds, standing a cool 6 feet tall, the Hunter of Voramis!

Bucelarii 2 Small
Tale of the Tape:
• Superhuman reflexes, strength, speed–think Captain America, but stronger
• Thousands of years of weapons training
• Body has accelerated healing factor–can survive a sword to the heart (can be killed by drowning, iron weapons, beheading, and suffocation)
• Cannot be killed by anything but iron
• Accursed dagger that heals him when he kills
• No magical abilities whatsoever
• No hesitation to kill if he perceives opponent as a threat/obstacle to his desires–classic anti-hero

Two enter the ring, only one can leave alive!

To kill Thya The Hunter would try to overwhelm her with his inhuman speed, strength, and skill. All he has to do is pierce her skin with Soulhunger, and the dagger will consume her soul. Not even someone with considerable magical abilities can survive Soulhunger’s bite–it was created to kill demons.
How would Thya kill the Hunter?

Thya will first crush his windpipe just by staring at him with her deadly white irises. She will suffocate him before wielding a iron sword that will slice off his head, all in a matter of seconds.

Who would win?
Before the Hunter can raise Soulhunger, a constricting force around his throat cuts the air from his lungs. Even as his body fights to repair itself, Thya rips Soulhunger from his grip and plunges it into his heart.
Winner: Thya. And without moving!
