March 2012 ****

The lifestyle that the characters in this book lead are completely foreign to the life I lead. However, I was able to see parts of myself and people I know in the decisions that they made. I really enjoyed the booked and felt like I was saying good-bye to some friends when the book was over.

May 2012 ****

Not my normal read but i enjoyed this book alot. I didn’t realize it was before the Huntress which i had read first but that didn’t really matter the characters were still great. I recognized some of them from the huntress which was actually cool to see how they were when they were younger and how they had changed over time. Remember it’s not always blood relatives that make a family!

October 2012 ****

If you like Huntress, you will love this! It is the prequel to Huntress, and tells us how it all began. Kick ass bikers, club brotherhood and even some romance. Karina covered all the bases to a good story!

August 2015 ****

Being a biker in my younger life I could relate to this book, the story line was good and the things that happen kept you on edge. I would say the tyrants were a good gang compared to some i have heard of in my biker’s youth. I did not want to put the book down. If you into bikers life you would understand this book very well with its ups and downs and the trill that comes with it, but if you are not a biker it is still a very good enjoyable read.

November 2015 *****

Having not read anything in this genre, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Jade, the main character, is flawed like the rest of us, leaving her unhappy home to find her niche in the world. Attracted to the leader of a biker gang, she makes herself known to him, gradually gaining a place as his girlfriend. The life they lead is fascinating, and she is accepted as one of the family, giving her the confidence she has always wanted.
The story takes place over a period of time, and love, betrayal, and danger run throughout. I like the way Ms. Kantas weaves her spell, one that will have you looking forward to the next book in this series.

December 2015 *****
A enjoyed this, Karina Kantas writes really well and knows how to weave a story with some great characters to keep the reader hooked. This is the first one I have read from Karina and one if not the first she wrote, so I look forward to reading more and certainly the most recent ones.

March 2016 ****

In Times of Violence had an addictive storyline. I actually got up in the middle of the night to finish reading it. I loved Jade, although I don’t fully understand her or her motives.

August 2016 *****

This book was an interesting and relatively quick read about a motorcycle gang and the different ways that joining it impacted a young woman’s life. It follows both her and those she grows to care for, ending with a much more grown up look on life than the character starts with. It is a love story, but it is also a story of wanting desperately to belong and not knowing how. Finally, it is a story of a young woman coming of age in a world where there is no longer a way to know if you have truly come of age and her decisions to find a way to make her life seem as though it mattered and find a family she understood. It is a good book and I would recommend it for those looking for drama or adventure of the more realistic kind.

September 2016 *****

Girl moved to the city from a small town where she was bored and needing action. Took up with a biker gang. It was entertaining enough but it didn’t address some questions I had like what became of the relatives she was staying with before she joined the gang. I liked the story though and recommend it.

February 2017 *****

This is my first book by Karina Kantas and I found it well-written and true to life. This is a quick read about a young woman who wants to escape her farm life looking for excitement. She ends up joining a motorcycle gang. I think this story is about self-discovery and what makes a family. This is really a very good story that you won’t want to put down. It was thought-provoking. I thought it very realistic in story and feeling. There are ups and downs just like life. I will be reading more from this author.

August 2017 *****

The author did an amazing job with this storyline.

August 2017 *****
I am a huge fan of MC books. This was the first one from Karina Kantas that I read and I could not put it down. It was odd at first reading it from Jades point of view. But it was very well written. I enjoyed every minute of this book and have already read the second in the series and started the third. That is how good they are. Do not miss this book. Jade, Marcus and Dylan will bring out the feels.

October 2017 *****

Reading this reminds me so much of S.O.A. Well put together and the characters are relatable. I laughed and cried while reading. I look forward to reading the next book!

Well Done, Karina Kantas!

November 2017 *****
I love this book. She joined the gang to feel love. They all took her in an treated her like a her. She loved with the 2 brother in love with Marcus or so she thought. But Dylan was the one who really loved her. But she didn’t want to hurt Marcus. So they kelp its secret. Then Dylan was killed to protect he brother.
January 2018 *****
A new and different take on a young troubled farm girl meeting an MC. I loved Jade, may not have always understood her thought process but she was a well developed character, in a well written book.
February 2018 ****
I won this series and so glad I did I loved it and they just got better and better don’t be put if by being a YA edition it was so good definitely be keeping an eye out fir this author again.
March 2018 ****

The novel movement was liquid! Each character was fully-developed, flawed and so authentically human. The violence and suspense was interwoven with a warm familial relationship among the MC members, lots of British slang colored the narrative which added such realism and really took the reader on a thrill-ride through the streets of London.

Lovely Booklover, I Never reveal ANY spoilers in my reviews as I wish for you to discover the joys of each Tantalizing Tale for yourself. I kindly recommend you purchase this book for your home library.

December 2018 ****

While I’m not into YA books. It is a good read for something short and fast.

Febuary 2020 ****

I wasn’t expecting to read it so fast or even enjoy it as much but to my surprise karina did a fantastic job with this. I immediately fell in love with her characters and felt like I knew them personally.
I was engaged the whole time, really only putting the book down when my kids needed me or I had to drive.
Jade was easy to relate to, especially if you had a tough upbringing and needed to feel love from others(tyrants) I love that it wasn’t all peachy rainbows but jade had to go through some stuff to figure out her happiness, her place in the world.
If you’re looking for an intriguing read, this is it. If you’re looking for a love story with some bumps in the road, this is it.
