September 2015 *****

This was an interesting read of different stories from poetry, to thriller to suspense and more.
Each story had its own unique voice and kept me turning the pages.
Well done.

This is the first work I have read by Ms.Kantas, and I was not disappointed. A variety is included in this volume…chapters from stories, poems, exercises from writing classes, etc. I found a thought-provoking style of writing, sometimes edgy, sometimes reflective, but always engaging. I could feel the emotions and was entertained as well as inspired.

I look forward to reading more by Ms. Kantas. 5 stars.

January 2016 *****

This is a fantastic book which merges poetry and story together with a very skillful hand by the author. The way where prose and story merges allows the reader to be able to drift along with great ease and delight.

Karina shows a unique and gifted hand when she writes and it shows upon the pages of this book. A fantastic book from a fantastic author…for my first book from this author…she deserves the 5 stars.

April 2017 *****

Oh, I love the first story and would love to see it as a full novel. It’s very innovative and reeled me in and got me wondering. What if? This book is what I like to call a collection of creative potions. My favorite is the Watcher. I didn’t know where the story was going and didn’t wondered. I love the path it was taking me. This writer is a great talent and I look forward to reading more from her.

July 2017 ****

Undressed by Karina Kantas is a collection of riveting short stories, flash fiction, haunting poems, and excerpts from intriguing stories.
I’m giving Undressed four stars. While I loved the stories and will likely turn to this short work should I ever find myself with a bit of writer’s block, there were several typos. If it were only a handful of errors I wouldn’t think much of it as none of us are perfect, but this work collection of works could use a bit of love from an editor.

There was one story about half way through called Childhood Memories that stuck with me. Karina Kantas reveals a piece of her past in this little short story and it reminds me a bit of my own as it would seem we’ve both have leather clad friends to thank.

As for the other stories, I have now added some more things on my to be read list thanks to some of the excerpts from published works and hope to find them just as entertaining as these little snippets.

January 2018 ****

This book delivers on everything the blurb promises: introductions to a couple novels that leave you wanting more, flash fiction, and poetry. Well written and full of emotion, this was certainly an enjoyable read.
