Lawless Justice is book 3 in the OUTLAW series but is not a sequel, thus it can be read as a stand-alone.
I wanted to write a story about a female MC as I had already published two, male MC stories. Of course, that’s the norm.
Even though there are only a handful of female MC novels out there, I wanted ***to*** bring a little something extra to the story.
And that’s how the sexy, feisty and violent women of the Kittnz MC came about.
I also have to give Quentin Tarantino a mention for his film Death Proof and his bad arse ladies who inspired me to write Lawless Justice.
S.E. Anderson can’t ever tell you where she’s from. Not because she doesn’t want to, but because it inevitably leads to a confusing conversation where she goes over where she was born (England) where she grew up (France) and where her family is from (USA) and it tends to make things very complicated.
She’s lived pretty much her entire life in the South of France, except for a brief stint where she moved to Washington DC, or the eighty years she spent as a queen of Narnia before coming back home five minutes after she had left. Currently, she goes to university in Marseille, where she’s studying Physics and aiming for a career in Astrophysics.
When she’s not writing, or trying to science, she’s either reading, designing, crafting, or attempting to speak with various woodland creatures in an attempt to get them to do household chores for her. She could also be gaming, or pretending she’s not watching anything on Netflix.
S.E.Anderson is the author of the funny Sci-fi novel, Alienation. We managed to get hold of her and ask her a couple of questions.
What do you like to do when you’re not writing?
I love to read, but also create book covers. And knit, and cross stitch. And study the universe! I’m currently studying for a Masters of Space sciences.
What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books?
How many friends would support me! I couldn’t believe how cool and excited everyone was about Starstruck and my little career as an author.
3. How many books have you written? Which is your favourite?
I’ve written 23 novels, though only Starstruck has ever been published – and Alienation soon! The other ones might be worth publishing one day, but they need a lot of work. Some are fantasy, some are scifi, and I even have a YA romance I’m dying to get back to!
4. Do you hear from your readers much? What kinds of things do they say?
I love my readers. I was amazed that they reached out to me, and I could not be happier! Many have become great friends of mine. They seem to really love the humor, and also… the growing relationship between Sally and Zander! They’ve even come up with a ship name – Zally!

Sally Webber’s dream is coming true: Zander is back and taking her out for a night on the town–on a planet hundreds of light years away from Earth.
But when an accident separates her from her alien tour guide, she’s thrown into the seedy underbelly of an insane city where nothing is as it seems. Suddenly lost and desperate to get back home, Sally is willing to do anything to get out, even if it means accepting spontaneous marriage proposals, crashing some fancy parties, or joining what appears to be the space mob.
All she wanted was some decent interstellar pizza, but now it might be the end of the world as evil nanobots and an out of control AI try to take the universe by force, and the only one who can stop them is missing in action. Sally has no choice but to try to stop them herself–if she can stay alive that long.
Alienation is the fantastic sequel to the hit sci-fi comedy, Starstruck by S.E.Anderson.

Now, let’s learn more about this amazing world S.E.Anderson has built.
Welcome to the Alliance
The United Planetary Alliance plays a major role in all the Starstruck books. As our closest galactic neighbor, Sally and Zander will run into them more often than not: it’s hard to stay out of their affairs when they control this arm of the Milky Way.
The Alliance has existed for a little over 10,000 years – converting their time to ours is a little complicated, as their time is based on a very complicated decimal system, based on the days of Pyrina, their capital planet. Assuming their definition of a second is the same as ours, a day on Pyrina is 55h long – over two earth days. Across the Alliance, Standard Time is defined by the local time on Pyrina’s dolmen, a rock where the Alliance accords were signed.
History tells that ten races signed the accords, unifying against a shared threat known only as “the darkness,” which threatened to destroy the two neighboring systems. Some notable planets who signed were Pyrina, Hydra, and Da-Duhui: what we call the core planets of the Alliance. While Pyrina holds the seat of government, the real cultural hub is Da-Duhui (think DC and NYC).
Both Hydra and Pyrina, despite being in neighboring solar systems with no contact for millennia, both are home to humans. A link or reason for this parallel evolution has not yet been found.
The Alliance is a democratic system, run by an elected President. However, like with Da-Duhui, the elections are too far and few between, and too limited in candidates, to really be called elections. The President resembles more an emperor. Currently, the government has lost the President’s son and heir, making it turbulent times.
There are now well over 100 planets included in the Alliance – and those are just the ones currently inhabited. Many planets and asteroids are riddled with mines; and many others, including earth, are simply under the Alliance’s control, as they have strict rules governing when contact can be made. While earth is too primitive to join their coalition, it is an ideal place for alien tourism. They quite enjoy seeing a world so underdeveloped, with our ‘petty’ squabbles. The tourism is organized by a group known as “The Agency”.
Zander and Blayde have a complicated history with the Alliance. Their obsessive need to mess with other people’s affairs for the greater good have seen them on either side of the Alliance, sometimes helping, and sometimes diverting their plans. For this reason, the Alliance has a massive bounty on their heads, though not fully comprehending who the siblings are.
As with any large group, there are bound to be tensions. And the Alliance is so massive, there are many: a few planets claiming independence, certain races demanding change, rebels trying to bring the entire system down. The rim planets are always hard to control, joining the alliance, for the most part, to avoid getting on their bad side.
But while the system isn’t perfect, it’s quite effective. It ensures cohesion in this arm of the milky way, and for the most part, peace.
