Why did you start writing?

Because I was bullied a lot for being a ‘fat’ kid, writing was my escape. The first world I created came in at 170k and I wrote from 13-15, it kept me going when times were dark and I didn’t want to keep on living.

Give us an insight into your main character. What does he/she do that is so special?

I do have a couple of MC’s they each tell their own wonderful story. My main guy though is Taliri, set 18 years into the future from Lethao, and after their arrival on Earth. Taliri is the ‘secret king’ he hides within his half formed House, and protects the innocent from the side-lines. He’s my main guy because his morals and beliefs are so strong he’s sacrifice himself to do what is right for everyone and that sacrifice means taking on the one human who believes the Aonise are wrong, and do not deserve a place on Earth.

What’s is it all about?

Taliri’s story is about taking his rightful place as King of the Aonise, and leading his people into a new era, one where they aren’t afraid of humans, where they can fight and be the people they are destined to be without hurting others.
